Team captain of Team Denbosch and featured speaker at the RHCC Opening Ceremonies Andrew Smith answers questions about Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer.

Q. How would you describe your experience on September 29th @ RHCC 2012?
A. I personally found the event to be the best I have ever been too. So well organized. One word, seamless!

Q. Why are events like Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer so important?
A. RHCC allows people to fight together. Without events like RHCC, cancer would have no kryponite. Funding for research is key!

Q. Do you have a favourite game day memory or highlight?
A. My highlight was actually telling my story to everyone, then having everyone tell me why they were there. Very moving, very emotional. (Brings tears to my eyes while I type)

Q. What motivated you to get involved in Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer?
A. During my PMH visits I wanted to help everybody there. I wanted to see my kids grow up and do things parents should be around for.

Q. What are you most looking forward to at RHCC 2013?
A. . I AM going to be the top individual fundraiser for 2013 so I can score a goal on Carlton!
